What is your favorite machine learning algorithm and the moment and why?

My choice: Neural Networks (more specifically, Capsule Networks). It enables you to approximate any function and are therefore extremely useful.

Definitely Bayesian Networks! A little harder to understand, but it gives great estimates for probability distributions on your data.

I find LogisticRegression very useful, although it is such a simple model. It is easy to understand and not a black box model such as neural networks in which you can’t fully understand what is happening under the hood.
