I’ve been playing around with JSON for some time. Displaying it as plain-text doesn’t hurt anybody, but I would like to do it properly. There are so many standards for the JSON content-type:
Which is the correct one? Or best one? I heard that there are browser/security issues with some of the types?
For JSON text:
The MIME media type for JSON text is
application/json. The default encoding is UTF-8. (Source: RFC 4627).
For JSONP with callback:
